Service person and Sales Person explained its service or products in detail sometime. However, is this detail explanation really demanded by the customer?
For example, the service person in Starbucks Japan tells us about the name of "Today's Coffee" when we order it. You might know, Starbucks changes coffee beans a couple of times in a day. What kind of objective and effects are there in this explanation?
As of one of assumption, does Starbucks expect the customer ordering the same coffee again on the next time? Unfortunately, we are not able to select coffee beans at Starbucks Japan. For another assumption, Starbucks expects the customer to purchase coffee beans if they like taste of "Today's coffee". If so, it is hardly comprehensive the reason why Starbucks provides various beans at the asme time.
In addition, I was aware that Starbucks does not put on the explanation anywhere about the taste of beans recently. I suppose that the customer is able to have interest to coffee beans if there is summary, rader chart, or score of stars.
While, in my opinion, the explanation of products and services are too much sometime, some consumers actually need it. From such cases, I'm feeling it difficult to provide appropriate and effective explanation to the customer.
